Introduction:
Kurram is a constituency for the National Assembly of Pakistan, primarily encompassing Lower Kurram Subdivision and Central Kurram Subdivision of Kurram District in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Until 2018, it functioned as an agency of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas. However, with the merger of the FATA with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, it attained the status of a district.
The Kurram Valley, characterized by extensive irrigation, dense population, and clusters of small fortified villages, orchards, and groves, is set against the picturesque backdrop of the dark pine forests and alpine snows of the Safed Koh.
