Introduction:
NA-23 Mardan-III is a National Assembly constituency in Pakistan. Previously recognized as NA-10 (Mardan-II) from 1977 to 2018, its designation shifted to NA-22 (Mardan-III) after the delimitation in 2018. Subsequently, with the latest delimitation in 2022, it assumed the current designation of NA-23 (Mardan-III). Takht Bhai Tehsil and a portion of Mardan Tehsil in Mardan District make up the constituency.

Popularity Reason: The district is famous for its agriculture industry and its archaeological sites, specifically of Takht-i-Bhai, Jamal Garhi and Sawal Dher. Takht-i-Bahi, meaning ‘throne of the water spring’ in Pashto/Urdu, is an ancient Buddhist monastery located in Mardan.
