Introduction:
NA-258 Panjgur Kech is a constituency for the National Assembly of Pakistan. It comprises the districts of Panjgur, and Kech from the province of Balochistan. It was created in 2022 by taking parts of Panjgur District and Kech District from NA-270 (Panjgur-cum-Washuk-cum-Awaran) and NA-271 (Kech) respectively.

Popularity Reason: Panjgur, aptly named “Five Graves,” is a region rich in archaeological heritage. The area boasts several historical sites, including ancient tombs that have stood for centuries, the Band-e-Gillar, an old dam, remnants of the Khudabadan fort (historical fort of Nawab Kharan), and traces of the old Issai port. One notable geographical feature is the seasonal Rakshan River, which courses through the heart of Panjgur, effectively dividing it into northern and southern parts. This river not only adds to the region’s natural beauty but also plays a significant role in shaping the landscape of Panjgur.

Ehsanullah Raiki emerged as the elected Member of the National Assembly (MNA) from NA-270 in the general election 2018.
