Introduction:
Peshawar-I is a constituency responsible for electing a representative to the National Assembly of Pakistan. In the 2018 delimitation process, NA-27 (Peshawar-I) incorporated regions previously part of NA-2 (Peshawar-II) and NA-3 (Peshawar-III). Peshawar is located at the eastern end of the Khyber Pass, an ancient trade route used for around 2,000 years since the time of the Kushan era. Mathra Tehsil, a portion of Shah Alam Tehsil, and Peshawar City Tehsil collectively form the administrative divisions of Peshawar.

Parks, Chowk Yadgar, and the town hall serve as popular social and public gathering spots.The city serves as the gateway to the Khyber Pass, marked by the Khyber Gate.
