Popularity Reason: Isakhel holds significance as a key town situated in the western part of Mianwali District. This historical town is named after Isa Khan, a renowned Niazi chief. Initially serving as the tehsil headquarters of Bannu District until November 1901, Isa Khel underwent administrative changes with the creation of the North-West Frontier Province from the Punjab province. Following this, Bannu District, along with Isakhel tehsil, became part of the NWFP, while Isa Khel became integrated into the newly formed Mianwali district in the Punjab region.
