Officials reported that an explosion in Tuesday’s Liaquat Bazaar in Quetta claimed one life and injured six others. “The Trauma Center at the Civil Hospital is providing treatment to six individuals who were injured in an explosion in Liaquat Bazaar,” stated a statement sent by Dr. Waseem Baig, the media coordinator for the Balochistan Health Department.
Both the incident’s nature and its precise position within the market were left unclear by the statement. According to the statement, Irfanullah, the son of Haji Amanullah, passed away, and Muhammad Azeem, Zainullah Amanullah, Habibur Rehman Mir Haji, Saagar Govand, Yousuf Masih, and Shabbir Hashim were among the injured.
Dr. Baig stated in a different statement that the two injured individuals’ conditions were critical. He went on, “Everyone who works there is here, and the injured are getting medical attention.” A man and two of his children were killed in a bomb that occurred inside a home in Quetta’s Achakzai Colony in March due to a gas leak.
