PESHAWAR: At least four persons have been killed and eight more injured in a bombing in the Razmak area of North Waziristan. According to the district administration, there were multiple fatalities from a motorbike bomb blast, and the injured were taken to adjacent hospitals.
As investigators looked into the situation, law enforcement and security professionals arrived at the bomb scene and cordoned it off. Target killings and militant attacks have been more common in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s North Waziristan district lately. President Asif Ali Zardari sent his condolences to the families of the victims of these assaults.
The president stated in a press release from the White House that he is committed to eradicating terrorism from the nation in its entirety. In his prayer, the president asked God to give the bereaved families the strength to patiently endure this great loss and to elevate the ranks of the deceased in Jannah. He hoped the injured would heal quickly as well.
