RAWALPINDI: During an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) on the night of March 17 and 18, in the North Waziristan District, the security forces killed a high-value target, identified as terrorist commander Sehra, also known as Janan, along with eight other terrorists. Eight terrorists, including terrorist commander Sehra alias Janan, were slain during the operation, according to a news statement from Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), following a fierce gunfight.
The law enforcement agencies were actively seeking the terrorist commander who was involved in planning the terrorist attack on the Security Forces’ Post in Mir Ali on March 16. As part of their ongoing efforts to eradicate terrorism nationwide, Pakistan’s Security Forces are conducting sanitization operations to remove any further terrorists they may find in the region, according to the ISPR.
