Judge Shakirullah Khan Marwat of the Sessions and South Waziristan District has been safely freed from kidnappers by the police. Judge Muhammad Ali Saif, KP CM, stated the judge had been moved into his house. He promised to provide the reporters with more information later. A high-level special team was earlier formed on Sunday to aid in the prompt rescue of South Waziristan’s district and session’s judge, who was abducted from Dera Ismail Khan the day before. Following the government and the Peshawar High Court’s notice of the kidnapping of district and session judge Shakirullah Khan Marwat, the police were alert.
The KP Home Secretary and the Provincial Police Chief were called by the PHC, who instructed them to retrieve the judge who had been abducted as soon as possible. In a 63-second video, the kidnapped judge revealed that the militants had certain demands from the government and that they would only release him once these requests were satisfied.
