LAHORE: China is Pakistan’s “iron brother,” according to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. He was addressing a group of eminent journalists who had come to China at the request of the China Public Diplomacy Association. The prime minister declared that there would be no compromising of the security of Chinese employees in Pakistan.
The PM declared, “All institutions are on the same page in this regard. It is our responsibility to provide security to the people of China.” The delegation informed the prime minister about the success of their visit to China. The seven trip members were Amir Mir, Sheraz Hasnat, Khalid Hasnain, Azam Malik, Khalid Gondal, Salman Ghani, and Matiur Rehman.
During his latest visit to China, the prime minister declared, “We achieved several targets.” He said Pakistan will soon see a significant influx of Chinese investment.
