ISLAMABAD: The Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) recently released a report detailing the forced relocation of Palestinians and the food insecurity of children. On Saturday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif urged the international community to act immediately on this information.
The report offers additional evidence of Israel’s crimes against the Palestinian people, with the UN acknowledging that there is seldom a day that passes without the murder of helpless Palestinians. The prime minister said that the research further shows that Israeli soldiers are targeting young Palestinians with the clear intention of destroying the Palestinian people.
According to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, 322 days have passed since the beginning of the genocide against the Palestinian people. In August, he added, 250,000 Palestinians were forcibly removed from their homes; this posed a threat to international law, international institutions, and international morals. Furthermore, he stressed that the unlawful eviction of 146 Palestinians from their homes in a span of two days served as a reliable gauge of the extent of Israeli oppression.
“The United Nations agency’s report affirms that hunger is being used as a weapon while, on the one hand, the genocide against Palestinians using lethal weapons continues.” According to the prime minister, only 1% of children in northern Gaza and 6% of youngsters in the southern section of the city were receiving food.
He claimed that Israel has intensified the killing of ordinary Palestinians by unleashing explosives and fire from the sea, the land, and the air. “The international institutions themselves will be brought to justice if the Israeli state, which commits crimes against humanity, is not brought to account.”
The prime minister emphasized that the allegations from foreign organizations were a grave accusation against Israel, that those who commit crimes against humanity were to be held accountable, and that those who are persecuted ought to be given protection. He restated Pakistan’s promise to expedite the provision of food to Palestinians, particularly children.
