An excavator operator in Qila Abdullah, Balochistan, who had saved a family stranded during the flood was given Rs2.5 million by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday. According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), the prime minister thanked the rescuer Mohibullah for his bravery in saving the stranded family and inviting him to the Prime Minister’s House.
Mohibullah risked his life to save seven persons from a vehicle that was caught in a flood surge in the Kolk River in August. “You have my admiration and that of the entire country. The prime minister said, “I adore your devotion to humanity so much.”You are the hero of our country because you had the guts to save lives.”
He said that by saving the stranded persons without regard for his own life, Mohibullah had fulfilled his obligation to the country. In addition to giving Mohibullah’s family free healthcare, the prime minister said that Mohibullah’s children will receive free education at university.
“Meeting the prime minister of Pakistan is an honor for me. Never did I believe that. In the meeting, Mohibullah remarked, “I never imagined that the act would get that much popular countrywide while rescuing the stranded family.” He expressed his gratitude to the prime minister for accepting his gesture and honoring him by extending an invitation to the PM House.
