QUETTA: On Thursday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif pledged the government’s unshakeable commitment to using teamwork to eradicate the threat of terrorism.
“The tragic incident that occurred in Balochistan recently has left the entire nation in mourning.” He made these remarks during a high-level Apex Committee meeting at the CM Secretariat in Quetta. “Khwarij, who shed the blood of innocent people, will be crushed through joint efforts of the nation and the valiant forces of Pakistan,” he declared.
Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Governor Balochistan Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail, Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti, Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi, Federal Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal, Federal Minister for Information Atta Tarar, Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal, Corps Commander Balochistan, and other armed and civilian officials were in attendance.
There were several armed and civilian officials present, including Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Governor Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail, Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, Federal Ministers for Interior Mohsin Naqvi, Planning Ahsan Iqbal, Information Minister Atta Tarar, and Commerce Jam Kamal.
The statement made by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif conveyed his deep sorrow for the lives lost in the terrorist attack in Balochistan on August 26. “It was a horrific and brutal event that shook Pakistan.” “This horrific incident has saddened the entire nation, but we are adamant that we will eradicate terrorism in Balochistan with determination and unwavering resolve.”
Balochistan is a significant and stunning province in Pakistan, and all impediments to its growth and prosperity will be permanently eliminated. The Prime Minister claimed that the Khawarij organized acts of terrorism in Pakistan and killed innocent Pakistanis, including members of the law enforcement community, while also making suggestions about the involvement of foreign parties.
But he reaffirmed the government’s resolve to bring an end to those responsible for the horrible slaughter. The martyrs’ blood will not be in vain. He continued.
He expressed his great confidence in the professional qualities of the armed forces and civilian authorities, saying that terrorism will be eradicated with full support from the federal government and the leadership of Balochistan, under the direction of Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir. The Prime Minister went on, “Sacrifices of those who laid down their lives for the motherland and the innocent civilians will not go to waste.”
