ATTOCK: In Punjab’s Attock area on Thursday morning, a gun attack on a school vehicle resulted in the deaths of at least two children and the injuries of five more. Two children were killed when the unidentified shooters opened fire on the school vehicle in the Attock neighborhood of Dheri Kot, according to the police. The kids ranged in age from ten to twelve.
After the crime, the unnamed individuals left the location, according to Rescue 1122 Punjab. Rescue crews arrived on the scene as soon as the event was reported, and they took the dead and injured to a local hospital. Maryam Nawaz, the Chief Minister of Punjab, has requested an urgent report from Commissioner Rawalpindi, expressing her sincere regret over the event.
She also gave the relevant authorities instructions to give the injured people access to the greatest medical services. In addition, President Asif Zardari denounced the school van shooting event, calling it a heinous and callous attempt to kill defenseless children. Shehbaz Sharif, the prime minister, denounced the event and described the attack on defenseless youngsters as heinous and brutal.
He has given the go-ahead for the authorities to prosecute the guilty with severe consequences. Saleem Haider Khan, the governor of Punjab, has also harshly denounced the attack on the school bus.
