ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said on Thursday that the national institutions and the coalition government were collaborating in “unprecedented harmony” to forward the country’s goals and assist it in overcoming its present challenges. The prime minister stated that the nation has never needed unity and national harmony more while speaking to the Ulema and Mashaikh Conference in Islamabad. Throughout his political career, he had never witnessed such a high degree of collaboration between a political government and the institutions.
“In my political career, I have never witnessed such cooperation,” declared the prime minister. He said that Pakistan’s administration and military establishment working together was a “role model” for the future. He asserts that to address the issues facing the country, we must make significant progress toward establishing Pakistan while also reflecting on our past wrongdoings and errors.
Fitna al Khawarij, a phrase used to refer to Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan, was alleged to be engaged in anti-Pakistan operations by the group, even if its members claimed to be Pakistani. He therefore urged for measures to eradicate it. The prime minister emphasized that the personalities behind the tragedy of 1971 met their end in Bangladesh amid the recent developments in the nation, labeling the May 9 attacks “the most heart-wrenching” episode in the nation’s history.
Speaking to the assembly, Prime Minister Shehbaz stated that the government was doing everything in its power to solve the economic difficulties and that the next International Monetary Fund (IMF) program will likely be the last one. He stated that the provinces would shortly reveal their strategies and that the coalition government was in consultation to develop a comprehensive plan to lessen the burden on the people affected by inflation.
According to him, the IMF Program was necessary to bring about reforms in the power and FBR sectors, as well as economic stability and gainful employment. Shehbaz stated, “The stability will only come if we plan for the 250 million people in the country to be employed productively.”
