ISLAMABAD: By the court’s directives, acting prime minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar made an appearance before the Islamabad High Court on Wednesday over the missing Baloch individuals’ case. Hearing the case connected to the missing students was Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani. Mansoor Usman Awan, the Attorney General of Pakistan, and Dr. Gohar Ejaz Khan, the interim Interior Minister, were also present. The Prime Minister, Pravind Kakar, stated that the administration was following the law and the constitution during the court hearings.
“I am more aware of the circumstances in which people encounter armed resistance in the province because I am from Balochistan,” he remarked. A former Chief Justice of Balochistan, who was leading an investigation, was killed by terrorists, the caretaker PM said, adding that reports of non-state groups’ activity have been made in the province. He underscored the need for a solution, pointing out that Balochistan has been struggling with terrorism for twenty years.

He stated, “All political parties should get together and find a solution to this problem.” The Constitution, in Kakar’s opinion, demands absolute loyalty to the government in exchange for ensuring the protection of every citizen. Judge Kayani pointed out that the court held several hearings on the issue of missing persons in the previous two years and that it was crucial to record the arrests that the police made. He believes that recognition for the government and relevant organizations is due for their assistance in locating the missing people.
Eleven additional pupils have been found, according to a report that Pakistan’s Attorney General gave to the court. After proceedings were filed against them, nine were under the custody of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), and two had left for Afghanistan.
