Introduction:
NA-215 Sanghar 1 is a constituency for the National Assembly of Pakistan. Previously named as NA-209, it includes Sanghar Tehsil, Khipro, Jam Nawaz Ali Tehsils and Sinjhoro Tehsil (partly).

Popularity Reason: Sanghar District, also recognized as the district of Hur Mujahids, is renowned for being the stronghold of followers of the Muslim saint Syed Shah Mardan Shah-II. The district holds historical significance as these followers, known as the Hur Mujahids, played an active role in resisting British rule, led by Sibghatullah Shah Rashidi. Sānghar serves as a market town and is home to several cotton-textile factories. The surrounding region is characterized by semiarid land, forming part of the expansive Thar Desert, and includes cultivated areas irrigated by the Mithrao Canal system, drawing water from the Indus River. The primary crops cultivated in this locality include rice, wheat, and cotton.
