Introduction:
NA-252 Musakhel-cum-Barkhan-cum-Loralai-cum-Duki is a newly created constituency for the National Assembly of Pakistan. It comprises the districts of Loralai, Musakhel, Ziarat, Duki and Harnai from the province of Balochistan. In 2018 it was under NA-258.

Popularity Reason: Ziarat, situated just 120 kilometers (approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes) away from Quetta in Baluchistan, Pakistan, offers an ideal setting for trekking, hiking, and picnics. Renowned for hosting Pakistan’s largest juniper forest, it is considered the second-largest juniper forest globally. The wooded area is a habitat for various animal species, including black bears and Markhor. The journey to Ziarat presents a remarkable transition in landscape, evolving from dry, barren, rugged mountains to lush green mountains adorned with juniper trees, providing a captivating natural spectacle.

In the general elections of 2018, Muhammad Israr Tareen secured victory and was elected as the Member of the National Assembly (MNA) from NA-258, representing the districts of Loralai, Musa Khail, Ziarat, Dukki, and Harnai.
