Introduction:
NA-8 Bajaur is a parliamentary constituency in Pakistan, encompassing the entire Bajaur District, for representation in the National Assembly. Up until 2018, it operated as an agency in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas. However, with the decision to integrate FATA into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in 2018, it underwent a merger and became a part of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Bajaur is home to Tarkalanri Pashtuns like Mamund, Kakazai, Wur, and Salarzai .The border with Afghanistan’s Kunar province is important for Pakistan and the region.

Koh-i-Mor is the tallest peak in Bajaur, also known as the “three-peak mountain.” In winter, it’s capped with snow, and clouds often touch its summit. On clear days in the Peshawar valley, you can see the peak of Koh-i-Mor when there are no clouds or haze.
