The leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, has called for a nationwide, nonviolent protest against returning police. The Pakistani people have demonstrated total faith in Prime Minister Imran Khan’s agenda, rejecting “slavery and subjugation,” according to Barrister Gohar Khan’s statement. Notwithstanding these obstacles, on February 8th, the populace left their houses and gave PTI an obvious and unambiguous mandate.
The PTI chairman claimed that returning officials are attempting to steal the people’s mandate once more, rather than humbly accepting their decision. There is a reprehensible attempt to erode democracy by manipulating election outcomes and fomenting discontent. Barrister Gohar Khan stressed that neither the nation nor its citizens will accept such an attempt to disdain their right to vote. With a clear majority in the center, Punjab, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s creation of a government based on democratic and constitutional rights is essential.
The PTI Chairman restated that large-scale, well-coordinated, and nonviolent demonstrations are planned for today against the returning officers, who are attempting to rig the results of the election, postpone them illegally, and distort the PTI’s resounding victory.
