Introduction:
Peshawar-IV is a constituency for the National Assembly of Pakistan, formed during the 2018 delimitation. It encompasses areas from three former constituencies: NA-1, NA-2, and NA-3. The majority of its territory is derived from NA-2 (Peshawar-II). Specific areas acquired include Bhana Mari (from NA-1), Ziarat Wali Muhammad Sahib, Gulberg, Kotla Mohsin Khan, Landi Arbab, Nodeh Payan, Peshawar University, Police Colony, Hayatabad, Census Charge No. 17 (excluding specific areas), Peshawar University Town Committee, Peshawar Cantonment, Reggi Lalma (from NA-2), and Reggi Ufatazai (from NA-3).

Popularity Reason: Peshawar, as one of the world’s ancient cities, carries a profound Islamic heritage and a captivating history. Historically, Peshawar was distinguished by its monumental Rampura Gate, Reti, Kachehri, Asamai, Kabuli, Bajouri, Dabgari, Ramdas, Beriskian, Sard Chah, Sirki, Kohati, Yakka Thoot, Ganj, Lahori, and Hashtnagri gates, each contributing to the city’s cultural and architectural richness.
Main Political Parties:
In the 2018 General Elections, candidates from various political parties, including Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz, PPP, PTI, MMA, and TLP, as well as independent candidates, contested in NA-30. Notable individuals in the race included Shair Ali Arbab, Arbab Najeeb Ullah, Arbab Almgir Khan, Muhammad Alamgeer Khalil, Muhammad Junaid, Muhammad Shaukat Khurshid, Noor Wali Khan, and Malik Hydar Khan.
Following the election results, Sher Ali Arbab emerged as the elected Member of the National Assembly (MNA) from N.A-30 District Peshawar in the general election of 2018.
